Gunyaŋara

Gunyaŋara (also known as Ski Beach) is located on the Gove Peninsula in North East Arnhem Land, on Melville Bay.
It is 25 kilometres from Nhulunbuy airport, 14 kilometres from Nhulunbuy township and adjacent to the Gove Port, a naturally occurring deep water port. The population of Gunyaŋara is approximately 280 people and the community is serviced by a small store, nursery and coffee shop, an Aboriginal community controlled health clinic and a range of education and community services provided by both
government and non-government providers. Local government services are provided by the East Arnhem Regional Council and essential services by the Northern Territory Government’s Power Water Corporation.
